In Feng Shui, the front door is referred to as the Mouth of Qi. It is the main entry point for the energy (Qi) that flows into your home. Here are some tips to invite more Qi to your front door.
Make sure your front door is visible. You don't want Qi and your guests to be confused on how to get to your front door, so make sure it isn't hidden.
Have pathways leading to your front door clear and well lit. You want all walkways clear of overgrown plants and bushes. Make sure pathways are well lit too.
You want decor to be balanced. If you have any decor or potted plants, lights, etc. near your door, you want to make sure it is balanced on both sides. Clutter blocks Qi, so you don't want this area over crowded either.
Keep it clean. You want to make sure your front door area is clean and inviting. This attracts postive Qi. Make sure there are no cobwebs, dirt or leaves.
Use your front door. It seems like a lot of people don't use their front doors as much. We tend to use our garage doors as our main door. By using your front door, you activate the energy. You can use it when going outside to check your mail or when going for a walk.
Make sure your door is in good condition and functioning properly. You want to make sure the door and hardware (door knob, knocker, etc.) aren't loose, stuck, falling off, or rusted. You want to avoid peeling paint and make any repairs needed.
I hope you enjoyed these simple tips that you can do to keep the positive Qi coming to your front door.
